THIS DISSERTATION ADDRESSES THESE ISSUES BY EXPLORING THE CONCEPT OF INTEGRATING STREETS AND MALLS TO CREATE A MORE COHESIVE AND VIBRANT URBAN ENVIRONMENT. THE RESEARCH EXAMINES CONTEMPORARY ARCHITECTURAL APPROACHES THAT EMPHASIZE SEAMLESS CONNECTIONS BETWEEN EXTERIOR STREETS AND MALL INTERIORS, BLURRING THE LINES TO FOSTER SOCIAL INTERACTION AND ENHANCE WALKABILITY. CENTRAL TO THIS STUDY IS AN ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN PROJECT THAT ILLUSTRATES THE PRACTICAL APPLICATION OF THESE CONCEPTS. THROUGH A DETAILED ANALYSIS OF URBAN DESIGN PRINCIPLES AND CASE STUDIES OF SUCCESSFUL INTEGRATED MALLS, THIS RESEARCH INVESTIGATES THE POTENTIAL BENEFITS AND CHALLENGES OF SUCH INTEGRATION. THE DESIGN PROJECT PROVIDES A TANGIBLE EXAMPLE OF HOW THOUGHTFUL INTERVENTIONS CAN ACTIVATE PUBLIC SPACES, PROMOTE PEDESTRIAN FLOW, AND CULTIVATE A STRONG SENSE OF PLACE. THE RESEARCH HIGHLIGHTS BEST PRACTICES AND ACHIEVEMENTS IN THE AREA OF INTEGRATED MALL DESIGNS, OFFERING VALUABLE INSIGHTS FOR URBAN PLANNERS, ARCHITECTS, AND STAKEHOLDERS INVOLVED IN MALL AND URBAN SPACE DEVELOPMENT. FINDINGS SUGGEST THAT INTEGRATING STREETS AND MALLS CAN LEAD TO IMPROVED COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT AND CREATE MORE VIBRANT URBAN DESTINATIONS THAT MEET THE SPECIFIC NEEDS AND ASPIRATIONS OF THE LOCAL COMMUNITY. THIS STUDY PROVIDES A COMPREHENSIVE ANALYSIS OF HOW THESE DESIGNS CAN ENHANCE URBAN VITALITY, III PEDESTRIAN ACTIVITY, AND SOCIAL INTERACTION. FUTURE RESEARCH COULD FOCUS ON ADDITIONAL CASE STUDIES OR PILOT PROJECTS TO FURTHER IMPLEMENT AND EVALUATE THIS APPROACH IN DIFFERENT CONTEXTS, PROVIDING PRACTICAL INSIGHTS AND REFINING THE UNDERSTANDING OF ITS BENEFITS AND CHALLENGES. BY REIMAGINING THE TRADITIONAL MALL STRUCTURE AND ITS RELATIONSHIP WITH THE URBAN ENVIRONMENT, THIS DISSERTATION CONTRIBUTES TO THE ONGOING DISCOURSE ON SUSTAINABLE AND INCLUSIVE URBAN DEVELOPMENT, PROPOSING STRATEGIES THAT MAKE URBAN RETAIL SPACES MORE RESPONSIVE TO CONTEMPORARY NEEDS. \u50b3\u7d71\u8cfc\u7269\u4e2d\u5fc3\u5e38\u5e38\u53d7\u5230\u5b64\u7acb\u548c\u5167\u5411\u8a2d\u8a08\u7684\u56f0\u64fe\uff0c\u9019\u4e9b\u8a2d\u8a08\u4f7f\u5b83\u5011\u8207\u57ce\u5e02\u74b0\u5883\u812b\u7bc0\uff0c\u963b\u7919\u4e86\u884c\u4eba\u878d\u5165\u548c\u793e\u5340\u53c3\u8207\u3002\u672c\u8ad6\u6587\u900f\u904e\u63a2\u7d22\u6574\u5408\u8857\u9053\u548c\u8cfc\u7269\u4e2d\u5fc3\u7684\u6982\u5ff5\u4f86\u89e3\u6c7a\u9019\u4e9b\u554f\u984c\uff0c\u4ee5\u5275\u9020\u4e00\u500b\u66f4\u6709\u51dd\u805a\u529b\u548c\u6d3b\u529b\u7684\u57ce\u5e02\u74b0\u5883\u3002\u8a72\u7814\u7a76\u63a2\u8a0e\u4e86\u7576\u4ee3\u7684\u5efa\u7bc9\u65b9\u6cd5\uff0c\u5f37\u8abf\u5916\u90e8\u8857\u9053\u548c\u8cfc\u7269\u4e2d\u5fc3\u5167\u90e8\u4e4b\u9593\u7684\u7121\u7e2b\u9023\u63a5\uff0c\u6a21\u7cca\u754c\u9650\u4ee5\u4fc3\u9032\u793e\u6703\u4e92\u52d5\u4e26\u589e\u5f37\u6b65\u884c\u80fd\u529b\u3002\u9019\u9805\u7814\u7a76\u7684\u6838\u5fc3\u662f\u4e00\u500b\u5efa\u7bc9\u8a2d\u8a08\u9805\u76ee\uff0c\u5b83\u8aaa\u660e\u4e86\u9019\u4e9b\u6982\u5ff5\u7684\u5be6\u969b\u61c9\u7528\u3002\u900f\u904e\u5c0d\u57ce\u5e02\u8a2d\u8a08\u539f\u5247\u7684\u8a73\u7d30\u5206\u6790\u548c\u6210\u529f\u7d9c\u5408\u8cfc\u7269\u4e2d\u5fc3\u7684\u6848\u4f8b\u7814\u7a76\uff0c\u672c\u7814\u7a76\u63a2\u8a0e\u4e86\u9019\u7a2e\u6574\u5408\u7684\u6f5b\u5728\u597d\u8655\u548c\u6311\u6230\u3002\u9019\u500b\u8a2d\u8a08\u8a08\u756b\u63d0\u4f9b\u4e86\u4e00\u500b\u5177\u9ad4\u7684\u4f8b\u5b50\uff0c\u8aaa\u660e\u6df1\u601d\u719f\u616e\u7684\u5e72\u9810\u63aa\u65bd\u5982\u4f55\u6fc0\u6d3b\u516c\u5171\u7a7a\u9593\u3001\u4fc3\u9032\u4eba\u6d41\u4e26\u57f9\u990a\u5f37\u70c8\u7684\u5730\u65b9\u611f\u3002\u8a72\u7814\u7a76\u91cd\u9ede\u4ecb\u7d39\u4e86\u7d9c\u5408\u8cfc\u7269\u4e2d\u5fc3\u8a2d\u8a08\u9818\u57df\u7684\u6700\u4f73\u5be6\u8e10\u548c\u6210\u5c31\uff0c\u70ba\u53c3\u8207\u8cfc\u7269\u4e2d\u5fc3\u548c\u57ce\u5e02\u7a7a\u9593\u958b\u767c\u7684\u57ce\u5e02\u898f\u5283\u8005\u3001\u5efa\u7bc9\u5e2b\u548c\u5229\u76ca\u76f8\u95dc\u8005\u63d0\u4f9b\u4e86\u5bf6\u8cb4\u7684\u898b\u89e3\u3002\u7814\u7a76\u7d50\u679c\u8868\u660e\uff0c\u6574\u5408\u8857\u9053\u548c\u8cfc\u7269\u4e2d\u5fc3\u53ef\u4ee5\u63d0\u9ad8\u793e\u5340\u53c3\u8207\u5ea6\uff0c\u5275\u9020\u66f4\u6709\u6d3b\u529b\u7684\u57ce\u5e02\u76ee\u7684\u5730\uff0c\u6eff\u8db3\u7576\u5730\u793e\u5340\u7684\u7279\u5b9a\u9700\u6c42\u548c\u9858\u671b\u3002\u9019\u9805\u7814\u7a76\u5c0d\u9019\u4e9b\u8a2d\u8a08\u5982\u4f55\u589e\u5f37\u57ce\u5e02\u6d3b\u529b\u3001\u884c\u4eba\u6d3b\u52d5\u548c\u793e\u6703\u4e92\u52d5\u9032\u884c\u4e86\u5168\u9762\u5206\u6790\u3002\u672a\u4f86\u7684\u7814\u7a76\u53ef\u4ee5\u5c08\u6ce8\u65bc\u5176\u4ed6\u6848\u4f8b\u7814\u7a76\u6216\u8a66\u9ede\u9805\u76ee\uff0c\u4ee5\u5728\u4e0d\u540c\u7684\u80cc\u666f\u4e0b\u9032\u4e00\u6b65\u5be6\u65bd\u548c\u8a55\u4f30\u9019\u7a2e\u65b9\u6cd5\uff0c\u63d0\u4f9b\u5be6\u7528\u7684\u898b\u89e3\u4e26\u52a0\u6df1\u5c0d\u5176\u597d\u8655\u548c\u6311\u6230\u7684\u7406\u89e3\u3002\u900f\u904e\u91cd\u65b0\u69cb\u60f3\u50b3\u7d71\u7684\u8cfc\u7269\u4e2d\u5fc3\u7d50\u69cb\u53ca\u5176\u8207\u57ce\u5e02\u74b0\u5883\u7684\u95dc\u4fc2\uff0c\u672c\u8ad6\u6587\u70ba\u53ef\u6301\u7e8c\u548c\u5305\u5bb9\u6027\u57ce\u5e02\u767c\u5c55\u7684\u6301\u7e8c\u8a0e\u8ad6\u505a\u51fa\u4e86\u8ca2\u737b\uff0c\u63d0\u51fa\u4e86\u4f7f\u57ce\u5e02\u96f6\u552e\u7a7a\u9593\u66f4\u80fd\u6eff\u8db3\u7576\u4ee3\u9700\u6c42\u7684\u7b56\u7565\u3002<\/p>","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"parent":0,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","format":"standard","class_list":["post-424059","tnc_col_19631_item","type-tnc_col_19631_item","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","tnc_tax_19912-choral-conducting","tnc_tax_19818-english","tnc_tax_19716-faculty-of-art-and-humanities-2","tnc_tax_19659-master-thesis","tnc_tax_19651-master"],"taxonomy_info":[],"featured_image_src_large":false,"author_info":[],"comment_info":0,"featured_img":false,"coauthors":[],"author_meta":{"author_link":"https:\/\/library.usj.edu.mo\/zh\/author\/emilychan\/","display_name":"emily
