Remote Access Help

Follow these troubleshooting steps when you have difficulty accessing an electronic resource from outside the Library.

I Can’t Find the Authentication Page

Do not search for the full-text article directly on the web. Instead, search for the article through the Library’s Database List , 「統一檢索」 .

A link found through an Open Web search may not direct you to the Library’s authentication page. Always start from the Library’s official access points when accessing subscription databases and other licensed digital resources.

1

到訪圖書館

Open the USJ Library website and go to the Database List .

2

Choose a Resource

Select the database or electronic resource you want to use.

3

Follow the authentication process and sign in with your MyUSJ Account when requested.

清除「Cookies」

If you cannot log in using the Library link, first try opening the resource in an Incognito , Private Browsing window.

If the resource works correctly in the private window, clear your browser cookies in your regular browsing window and try again.

This can help resolve problems caused by an old login session or stored authentication information.

Come with Your Devices

If you cannot solve the problem on your own, please bring your device to the Library and we will help you troubleshoot the remote access problem.

Bringing the device you are using can help us identify browser, authentication, or configuration issues more effectively.

Still Having Trouble?

Bring your device to the USJ Library if you need assistance accessing electronic resources remotely.
