What’s Grammarly?
An English writing tool to help you develop your English writing skills, reinforce proper revision habits and prevent plagiarism. An education version is available for all USJ students and staff.
1st Step
Register your account via
a) Sign in with Google with your USJ email
b) Create a new account with USJ email, name and password.
2. Check your inbox for the email and click on the activation link.

2nd Step
To make sure you get the most out of Grammarly, there are additional features that allow using Grammarly when writing in Microsoft Word, in Internet browsers, in emails, and on the desktop.
The desktop app can be placed on your computer as a shortcut on your desktop to provide a quick and easy way to access Grammarly. Its usage is identical to the online editor.
The extension is available for the following browsers:

2. Safari
3. Firefox
4. Microsoft Edge

Windows users
1. Follow this link to download the app.
2. Click on the downloaded file and follow the prompts on the screen to complete the installation. Grammarly should then appear in your system tray, located in the lower-right corner of the screen.
3. Open any app or website and start typing—you should see the floating Grammarly widget—and Grammarly will automatically start checking your text.
How to add Grammarly to Microsoft Word and Outlook on Windows?
1. Download Grammarly at the button below.
2. Click on the downloaded file and follow the prompts to complete the installation.
3. Once the application is installed, open Microsoft Word or Outlook and start typing.
Mac users
